Americus Brass Band

TOP BRASS, the 17-piece Americus Brass Band, returns to the Ramona Concert Association with a Salute to the Services, performing music and song from a century of the American military bands. From the fields to the canteen, from Civil War quicksteps and Sousa marches to Ragtime from the James Reese Europe and the Harlem Hellfighters of  WWI and Glenn Miller’s Swing of WWII, experience the music that inspired the troops and the public, performed on the authentic instruments of the times. For brass lovers, military veterans, and music fans alike - Enjoy the brilliant sounds of brass (plus a few woodwinds, piano, and vocals) from America’s musical past.

Back to the Garden

Back To The Garden is a group of veteran musicians who have backed artists as diverse as Johnny Cash, BJ Thomas, Chuck Berry, Kenny Loggins, Collin Raye, America, Juice Newton, Art Neville, The Everly Brothers and many more.

THE BEST OF THE LOVE ERA: Starting in the mid-sixties, the music world was turned upside down by the Beatles and ushered in a new era of musical experimentation, self reflection and love. Back To The Garden touches on this era with acoustic versions of memorable songs from a wide variety of artists such as James Taylor, Carol King, The Beatles, Crosby Stills & Nash, The Hollies, and many, many more. Included will be hits by artists such as Tex Williams and Hoagy Carmichael, performed with the country flare and precision of Ramona’s own guitarist, “Cactus” Jim Soldi, sideman to Johnny Cash and Ricky Skaggs.

Gliadkovsky Family

Kirill and Anna Gliadkovsky (Piano solo and Duo pianists) have performed in major concert halls in Russia, Germany, Italy, Poland, Mongolia, U.K.,Canada, Czechoslovakia., and the United States. Anna holds the highest degree in piano performance in Russia and Kirill earned both his Master's and Doctorate in piano, having studied for seven years at the University of Southern California. They received many awards and honors during their studies, both in Russia and the United States. Kirill has frequently appeared on TV and radio and they have recorded several CDs.The Gliadkovsky family recently returned from a sabbatical project where they performed in 20 countries.

Kirill has been on the piano faculty at USC and Pepperdine University. Anna is also a published composer. They often perform with their 19 year old daughter, Anastasia making it 6 hands and now the 3Gs have become 4Gs! as their youngest daughter, Sophia, has joined the process. That makes it 8 hands! Sophia, who is 9, debuted 4 years ago, at the Ramona Concert Series and from there has performed with her parents in many Southern Ca. venues.
